Miss Emily

Emily grew up in Cornwall and started dancing at the age of three, completing her ballet, modern, jazz and tap grades to advanced level under the BBO dance syllabus. At 11 years old she was awarded a ballet scholarship with BBO dance where for 5 years she travelled to London for monthly classes with ex-ballerina, Brenda Last OBE. She then went on to study BA (Hons) Contemporary Dance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. After graduating, she was accepted into JV2 (Jasmin Vardimon Company) where she studied and performed dance theatre. During this time, Emily worked with a range of choreographers who introduced her to moving and thinking in new ways. This helped her to adapt a versatile dance style.

Emily is passionate about giving children the creative freedom to express themselves through movement during her classes. She feels so lucky that dance has always been such a huge part of her life and wants to share this passion with her students in fun and engaging classes. She can’t wait to see her students grow in confidence in her classes!
